Subscribing to the HeadsUp! Network is an excellent choice for staff development. The benefits of subscribing include:
- 10 – 12 hours of high-quality training per month,
- quality early childhood training bought to you in the comfort of your center,
- live broadcasts that allow participants to ask questions and communicate with HeadsUp! Reading faculty,
- a website that is dedicated to our premiere course, HeadsUp! ReadingSM and
- on-going technical support.
Subscribing to the Network is a very easy process and most of all, we will walk you through any questions you may have along the way. The subscription process includes completing a subscription agreement and returning that agreement either by fax or mail. Once your subscription is processed, you will receive a phone call from our technical support department. The initial phone call is very important and serves two purposes: an introduction to the Network and a phone survey. During this call you will be asked the following questions:
- The type of roof the dish will be mounted on.
- Whether the building manager has any special requirements?
- What surrounds the building (mountains, trees, other tall buildings, etc.)?
- How many floors are in the building?
- On what floor would you like your system installed?
This phone survey is crucial to successful installation, because it provides the technician with a visual picture of the site’s surroundings. If you have any questions about the phone survey, e-mail them to askheadsup@nhsa.org.
Subscribing to the HeadsUp! Network is not only simple but cost effective. The annual subscription rate is $900 per year and requires a one-time installation and equipment fee which averages $650.
The HeadsUp! Network is broadcast on EchoStar Communications’ digital satellite system, Dish Network™. We are located on Business Television 61.5. Choose one of the following subscription options, based on your needs:
- My site, program and/or organization wants to subscribe and requires satellite equipment.
